I'm Kunaal Mahanti — I work in enterprise tech and engineering leadership by day, thinking about platform strategy, AI go-to-market, and a lot of systems at scale.

This site is where the same instincts get applied somewhere with a lot less at stake: my own homelab. I write about home automation and homelab engineering (Proxmox, OPNsense, UniFi, Home Assistant), my mechanical watch collection, the platforms and tools I build with, and an ongoing AI journey — most recently, standing up a small fleet of autonomous AI agents to help run and maintain all of the above.

It's a sandbox in the truest sense — the one place I get to make the calls just for the fun of it, with nobody's quarter depending on the answer.
